Lipstick on a Hottie

Good for Barack Obama! Finally a Democrat stands up to a Republican and doesn't run away with his tail between his legs!

I was disgusted to hear this morning that the McCain campaign is making a big deal out of Obama's comment that he was referring to Palin when he used the phrase "lipstick on a pig" at a speech on Tuesday.

When the McCain Camp claimed outage, Obama shot back - unlike anything that John Kerry, Al Gore or any other Dem had done in the past -- saying: "I don't care what they say about me. But I love this country too much to let them take over another election with lies and phony outrage and Swift-boat politics. Enough is enough," he said.

Good for you Barack!

I'm tired of the "fake" controversies that Republicans have been spinning for years to win elections. They should be talking about real issues that affect real Americans. Like the fact that paying for health insurance at my company is just as expensive as paying for Cobra coverage. That's B.S.!

Plus, Sarah Palin isn't close to being a pig. She's a full fledged hottie who faked her own pregnancy, believes in Alaska seceding from the union and believes in building bridges to nowhere until it's deemed a bad idea by the rest of the country.

Karl Rove Politics baby! I am so disheartened that the Republicans are gaining momentum over the past month. I cannot believe Americans are this stupid... Democrats have won 3 out of the LAST 10 elections but all of a sudden McCain and company are going to reform Washington! He has been in office for 26 years! The Republicans controlled Congress 7 out of the last 8 years! Palin is so far right and not a reformist but a slick politician. McCain has voted with Bush 90% of the time since he's been in office and is no longer a 'maverick.' Not to mention that he wants to continue to deploy troops to Iraq ($10 billion per month), is supposedly against special interests (but 7 of his top 10 advisors are former lobbyists), and thinks that the middle class is everyone with an income of 5 million or less. He is out of touch with the issues that effect the majority of our nation. Experience means nothing if you have a record of poor choices.

way too much politics in this blog! If you are going to talk politics you may as well give some facts. The idea that just bc someone in the same group did something that it'll continue does not fly with a guy who has gone against the establishment. And what has a democrat congress and senate done for us??? Nothing!! Raising taxes to pay for universal healthcare when the world (yes world...not republican fault) economy is down does not help things.

Lets not forget whst really got us here - Everyone thought it was a right in the declaration that they get to purchase a cheap house (or expensive one) without any payments & interest and that it should forever go up like a ponzi scheme. People and banks brought it upon themselves. Now everyone wants the government to make them whole for being retarded & of course the Dems know where their pay is so are happy to oblige. Sickening
