How About Some Respect?

No one is giving any respect to the Super Bowl XLII Champions.

The Patriots lost the Super Bowl, the Giants didn't win it. ...
The Giants had one good month last year and got hot at the right time...

The Giants lost Jeremy Shockey (the malcontent to the Saints), Michael Strahan (to retirement), Osi Umeniyora (to injury) and because of that they have no chance to even make the playoffs this year. ...

The Cowboys are God's greatest gift to football. ...

Even the Eagles will be better than the Giants this year. ...

The new look, Jim Zorn Redskins are going to give the Giants fits tonight. ...

That's what I'm hearing and it's ridiculous that no one respects the Super Bowl champs. I don't understand it one bit.

Sure the loss of Osi is huge, but it's not the end of the world. The offense is back and better than ever. And I think that the team stands a good chance to go 11-5 this year.

Whenever this team is disrespected they outperform. It sure looks like they are getting disrespected this year and for that reason I think we're headed toward another great year. I'm not talking about repeating as champions, but I really believe that they will at least make the playoffs.
Go Giants!!
