Thank God!!

If you read one of my blogs about the Madden curse awhile back, you know that I was worried about Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning being on the cover of Madden 09. I was worried because that would be horrible if Manning was subject to the notorious Madden curse. Well, my fears were allayed today when I learned that Brett Favre would be on the cover. Thank God!

What does Favre have to be worried about anyway? He's retired
And even if he comes back from retirement and does get hurt because of the curse, he can always take some painkillers to keep on playing. Oh right, that already happened.

I seriously laugh out loud in mockery at you when you write this stuff about Eli. Did you realllllly think they were going to put the mamby pamby piece of boring milk toast on the cover when there are far more deserving players that belonged on the cover? It would have been a travesty to put Eli on the cover for one drive when Brady had 18 good games or Favre who just showed his skills throughout the entire season.

I know you love him and are blinded by him, but best player in the league to sell a video game? That's just laughable.

Lamont Jordan all the way!!!

It is extremely rare for any star player to have consecutive great seasons which lead to a superbowl...eli and the giants got lucky last year, they had a good run. Eli led the league in turnovers but was saved by a stellar defensive effort.the NFC will catch up...remember if you had lost to buffalo late in the regular season it would be minnesota and the redskins in the playoffs. Also, your road record was great, but you all were abysmal at home...
